Making the people living in Afghanistan fear for their lives, the country is currently under the control of Taliban troops. The country is in the middle of a messy situation.

No other authority is left in the country except for the Taliban. While everyone is fearing the situation, it is expected to be more tough for the women and children there.

Now everyone is fearing that if the Taliban troops start to rule the country, then the situation would be scary for the women.

Taliban follow Sharia law that follows strict rules and the punishment implemented for those who fail to follow them would be very brutal.

The Sharia law says, women can't work with men and they cannot step out of their house. They can step out only when a male relative is with them.

Women can't wear high heels and they will not be permitted to speak loudly when they are in public.

If men or women are facing allegations of adultery, they would be hanged to death by the Taliban in public to show a sign that the same would happen if others indulge in adultery.

Sharia law is so patriarchal in manner that it won't allow girl children to attend schools after they attain an age of 10 years. The education will be allowed only if it goes with the Islamic Sharia law.

To put this in simple words, the entire system would be changed if the Sharia laws got into effect.

All the women employees irrespective of fields would be forced to sit at him and the jobs they hold would be given to their blood relatives.

They cannot even wear the dress they like. If they were seen in tight clothes they would be killed.

Earlier, the Sharia law was imposed in Afghanistan when the radicals ruled the country between 1996 to 2001. It is no less than a hell for people, especially the women and girls.

Several organisations that fight for the rights of women are expressing their concern that the devastating situation might get repeated in the country and have been appealing to other countries to help in maintaining peace.
