India is entering the upcoming 50 Over World Cup tournament as one of the hot favorites. Sticking to that Indian batsmen are doing wonders with the bath. Recently young player Ishan Kishan scored a massive double-century. Run Machine Virat Kohli is scoring centuries at regular intervals.

Shubman Gill who scored a brilliant hundred against Sri Lanka on Sunday had scarred another brilliant ton. Not just back-to-back centuries, Shubman Gill also brought a double century. His heroics helped India put up a big score of 349 on the board.

Shubman Gill joined the elite list of Indian batsmen with double centuries in the 50-ver format. The list was started by the God Of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan joined the list. Now Gill entered the elite list and became the youngest player to score a double ton.

When other batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya could not accelerate the innings Gill stood rock solid and played brilliant innings. In just 149 delivery he scored 208 runs. His innings consisted of 19 fours and 9 sixes.

It is a good sign for the Indian Cricket team as the batsmen are looking in good touch. One after the other the Men In Blue is getting in good touch and making good innings. The ODI World Cup is slated for commencement this year and Indian fans are feeling happy.

The bowling department is also getting sharp and crisp. Hyderabadi pacer Mohammed Siraj picked up his game and he is being economical with the ball. Once Jasprit Bumrah also joins the squad then nothing can stop India.
