Days ahead of the much-awaited GHMC elections, the ruling TRS faced a brutal shock after the TRS politburo member who played an active role in Sakala Janula Samme, employees strike for separate state agitation shifted his loyalty to the saffron party.
The other day Telangana Joint Action Committee convenor and member of TRS politburo Kanakamamidi Swamy Goud has joined the BJP party in the national capital Delhi in the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda.
For a few days, leaders from other parties have been flowing into the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). Earlier, former MP Sarve Satyanarayana and ex Hyd Mayor Banda Karthika Reddy, and others have joined the party.
Leaders from other parties shifting loyalties to the BJP will certainly give a josh to the party which is not leaving any stone unturned to win the local body elections.
It is believed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and BJP National President J.P. Nadda will campaign for the party. A few days back, MP Tejaswi Surya has campaigned in the city.
