Alcohol Addiction Cases Rise In Telangana Following Lockdown

Following the rise of the positive cases lockdown was imposed in India resulting in the shutdown of everything except medical shops and the shops that sell essential goods and Kirana shops.
This has resulted in closing the liquor shops too leaving the alcohol lovers in a deep shock and frustration. As a result, alcohol lovers were indulging in crazy incidents like hurting themselves and committing suicides.
While these sorts of cases are high in southern states, 800 such cases were reported in Erragadda Mental hospital leaving everyone in a deep shock. The doctors said that these sorts of cases have increased by 98% in recent times.
While many of the admitted patients have been discharged after being recovered fully. The doctors of the Erragadda hospital said that if people stop drinking alcohol it will shoe effect on them within 24 hours of stopping drinking alcohol.
