Allola Breaks 36 Year Jinx

It took Allola Indrakaran Reddy to break the endowments ministry jinx. Till now, no endowment minister has won the elections. So, everyone believed that if you become an endowments minister, you are bound to lose the next election. This trend continued in the undivided AP for nearly 36 years. There were eight endowments ministers till now and all of them lost the next elections. Due to this belief, not many wanted to become an endowments minister.
But, Nirmal MLA Indrakaran broke this belief. He had won with a thumping majority from Nirmal in the recent elections. He was endowments minister in 2014-2018 TRS government. Not only did he become an MLA, he was again given the same department.
Even Speaker's post is seen as a jinxed post. NO speaker has won a second time. Speaker of the last assembly Madhusudhanachary is the only major TRS functionary to lose the election this time.
