Amazon to probe bribery allegations on Indian Legal experts!

Earlier a leading News outlet in India had carried out news claiming that the legal representatives working for Amazon India were facing allegations of corruption. The report has sent shocking waves to the e-commerce giant that forced it to take action.
Media Company Morning Context that deals with technology-related news in India said that the Amazon company was not happy with the developments and launched a probe into the internal matters seeing the allegations as a serious matter.
Though the e-commerce giant didn't make any comment or statement in this sensational allegations row, the New York-based media company Bloomberg said that the spokesperson of Amazon had confirmed that the investigation on the bribery charges was started by the company and the entire process will be internal.
The e-commerce giant said that bribery and corruption will not be accepted and that there is no tolerance for such activities. No comment on the investigation process at this point of time will be made by the company. If the charges against the representatives were proved, serious actions will be taken against them, Amazon said.
Earlier, media reports had claimed that a few representatives of Amazon have reportedly indulged in bribing a few government officials while the identity of the government officials is yet to be known. These reports did not go well with the e-commerce giant.
The internal investigation is said to be going in a way to check if the accused representatives used the amount of the legal fees as a bribe for the government officials. If proven guilty, e-commerce will take appropriate action.
The business experts say that Amazon cannot take a risk with the issue given the fact that India is the best market for the company in terms of overseas operations and the investments made by the company in India are more than 6.5 billion US dollars.
On top of this, the American-based conglomerate Amazon had earlier announced that it will increase the workforce in India by the next four years and as many as two million new jobs will be created.

Earlier the company had hit the headlines with the Tandav Web Series and the allegations of favoring big sellers while selling the products. The investigation by the regulatory body Competition Commission of India in the big sellers' row is underway.
