In the eighteenth edition of the Miss South India which was organized at the Luxotica Convention Centre in Kannur, Aiswarya S, from Kerela won the beauty pageant. In the event, Sugamya Sankar who hails from Penukonda has won the Miss Queen Andhra title.

Talking about the same she has dedicated the title to her parents and family who supported her and helped her to focus on this.

Mentioning about her family she said that her father is a spiritual person and Yoga teacher. Her mother Gayatri is an actor who has acted in some films.

"I have studied till the 3rd class in Saraswati Vidyamandir and studied till 9th in the Rishukul school in Bangalore. I have completed a Diploma in Bharatanatyam from Kalkshetra Chennai and currently teaching dance to students at the Mit Vishwanath Gurukul," she said.

She gave some interesting tips to the youngsters and said everyone should have some goals in their life and they should give a big role in education. They should inculcate competitiveness. Especially girls should leave unconcern behavior.

She has even won the Yuvakalaratna award for Bharatanatyam awarded by the Manjeera Sahitya Academy in the year 2019. Not only this, she made many Bharatanatyam performances and gained appreciations.
