Political Mileage With Amaravati: Whos Desperate?
X
YCP Government is very particular about correcting the irregularities happened during the TDP Rule and plan anything in a systematic manner. Already, CM Jaganmohan Reddy passed clear instructions to the Capital Region Authority to carry out works related to road connectivity and other basic infrastructure in Amaravati. Ample indications were given that Amaravati will be the administrative capital of AP. Even Farmers of AP Capital region expressed their happiness over this official announcement. Still, Opposition Parties has been desperately trying to gain political mileage by spreading speculations on capital.

AP Government constituted an experts committee to decide how the new capital should be planned with available resources. Recently, A decision was taken to invite experts from IIT for establishing basic infrastructure in the capital. Construction of various permanent structures have been happening in the capital since the past 3-4 months.

Why don't Opposition Parties see all these developments as a positive sign? What is that they gain by making public insecure with unnecessary speculations? YCP Government wishes to develop new capital in a phased manner to avoid burden on the state exchequer. Instead of day-dreaming for a World-class Capital, Jagan wants to be practical while dealing with such serious matters involving the future of many generations.
