Andhra Pradesh Reported 8732 Fresh Cases In 24 Hours

Andhra Pradesh reported less number of fresh cases for the second consecutive day with as many as 8,732 fresh infections reported in the last 24 hours and the total cases rose to 2,81,817.
As per the health bulletin, 53,712 samples were tested in a single day and 8,732 infections were detected in the state. So far 28,12,197 samples have been tested for the disease.
On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, 87 fresh casualties were reported which takes the total fatalities in connection with the ongoing pandemic in the state to over 2500.
Andhra Pradesh reported record recoveries in a single day with 10,414 new recoveries. With this, the total recoveries zoomed to 1,88,222, while the active cases stood at 88,138.
East Godavari, Kurnool, and Anantapur are the worst-affected regions in the state. These regions account for over 70 percent of the total infections.
