Despite the preventive measures taken by the government and authorities, the cases are going up gradually in the regions of Godavari districts and Nellore district.
The Godavari districts are reporting more cases compared to other regions, as a result, strict restrictions were announced in the areas that are the hotspots for the virus.
Mandals like Chinturu and P. Gannavaram are placed under restrictions. Lockdown norms will be eased from 6 AM to 2PM. After that everything will come to a stand still.
The other region that is creating a lot of concerns is the Nellore district. More particularly Kavali division is reporting more Covid infections.
To see that the public won't gather in big numbers and the shop owners will also not have any issues, the shops were permitted to open till 5 PM.
The concerned authorities are not leaving any stone unturned to take the strict measures to contain the virus. Regions that report more cases are being changed into containment regions.
These developments have raised a new doubt whether Andhra Pradesh will undergo another statewide lockdown to tackle the virus spread.
