Another TDP wicket ready to fall?

Though Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appears disinterested in encouraging defections and is putting umpteen conditions for the MLAs from other parties for joining the YSRCP, the TDP MLAs appear to be in no mood to relent. They are doing everything they can to please YS Jagan and gatecrash into the YSRCP. After Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Maddali Giridhar, here is another MLA who is warming up to the YSRCP.

Addanki MLA Gottipati Ravikumar too is now planning to leave the TDP and is said to be in talks with his former friends in the YSRCP. He too wants to be recognised as an independent candidate. So, if his plans fructify, he too could sit separately along with Vallabhaneni and Maddali. It is another matter that YS Jagan has not taken any call on these two MLAs so far.

Gottipati Ravikumar began as a YSRCP leader and was elected to the Assembly from Addanki on YSRCP ticket. But, later he had to join the TDP under duress. He had to leave YSRCP as the TDP government tried to hit at his financial sources and industries. Clever guy that Ravikumar is, he has told his supporters and voters that he was leaving YSRCP only due to the attacks from the TDP and not because he did not like the party or its leader. Thus, he managed to keep his voters with him. It remains to be seen how Jagan will act on Ravikumar and Maddali's plea.
