Arvind Krishna Becomes The New CEO Of IBM

Arvind Krishna will succeed Virginia (Ginni) Rometty and becomes the new CEO of the tech Jaint IBM. He also joins the list of India-born technology czars who are leading some of the technology giants like Google and Microsoft.
Arvind is born at Dehradoon and comes from an army background as his father was an army officer.
'He is a brilliant technologist who has played a significant role in developing our key technologies such as AI, cloud, quantum computing and blockchain. He is also a superb operational leader,' former CEO Rometty said.
'Arvind is the right CEO for the next era at IBM,' he added.
Responding to being appointed as the new CEO of IBM, Arvind said,' I am thrilled and humbled to be elected as the next Chief Executive Officer of IBM, and appreciate the confidence that Ginni and the Board have placed in me'.
