As A Stunning Response India Skittles New Zealand For 62

New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel had stunned India by taking all ten wickets in the first innings of India. His bowling prowess made him equal the record of Anil Kumble who took ten wickets in one inning. The happiness of New Zealand on restricting India to a low score did not last long.

As a response to the stunning performance of New Zealand with the ball, the Indian bowling attack produced some fireworks and skittled the Kiwi team for just 62, breaking the record that of the South Africa team. While the Proteas team were bowled out for 75 back in 2015, New Zealand was restricted to just 62 for the loss of ten wickets.

India replied to spin with spin as the spin bowlers claimed seven wickets while Mohammed Siraj scalped the remaining three wickets. India got an early breakthrough with the speedster sending three batsmen back to the pavilion. From then, the spin bowlers took over and made things worse for the New Zealand team.

With a massive lead of 263 runs, India started its second innings and put up a score of 69 on the board without losing any wickets. At the time of stumps on Day 2, India ended its pay with a lead of 332.

India saw a savior in Mayank Agarwal who scored 150, close to half of the entire score. When the team was losing wickets at regular intervals, Mayank Agarwal didn't lose his focus and made 150. Without his heroics with the bat, the situation would have been otherwise for India.
