Yesteryear Superstar Vijayashanti has an impressive filmography in films. During her stint as a heroine, she saw superstardom and she got paid on par with leading heroes. As a big shift in her career, she ventured into politics and even floated her own party. She merged her party with TRS.
Now she is with the saffron party BJP. It's been quite some time since she joined the party. But she is yet to get a promotion in the party. No one knows what she is getting neglected in the party as new leaders in the T-BJP are getting chances and recognition.
Touching the issue indirectly, she said that the party leadership should have the answer to why she is silent. After the Sarvai Papanna Jayanthi celebrations, Vijayashanti spoke to the media and stunned everyone.
She said that Bandi Sanjay and K. Laxman should know how the party wants to use her services. I thought of speaking at the event. But I did not get any chance. Laxman came and spoke. I was kept in Silence, she said. Vijayashanti’s comments hinted that she might not be happy with the party.
Sustaining in a party like BJP is very tough given the hierarchy followed in the party. Moreover, leaders like Viajayashanti who like to be active cannot sustain for a longer time in the saffron party. We have to see what happens here.
