Attending Alluri's Anniversary is a Prestige Issue for MP RRR!

All eyes are now on the Bhimavaram town in Andhra Pradesh as massive arrangements were made for the 125th birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju who gave sleepless nights to the British rulers in the Vizag region. PM Modi is coming to unveil the statue on Alluri’s anniversary which is on the 4th of this month.
As far as the celebrations are concerned, there is a lot of suspense on whether the local MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju will attend the ceremony as the protocols say that the concerned MP should be present at the big ceremonies.
The MP knocked on the doors of the Andhra Pradesh High Court with a lunch motion. Through his lawyer, the rebel MP told the court that he wants protection so that he can come to his constituency.
Given the enmity between the Andhra Pradesh government and the rebel MP, there is an opinion that the MP might be arrested for some or other reason. The MP raised the same doubt before the High Court of the state.
Coming to his constituency has now become a matter of prestige for MP RRR. As he has been saying that he will step in Bhimavaram and no one can stop him, it is crucial for the MP to get the orders from the High Court that he faces no issues. We have to wait and see what happens next.
