Aunts Upset With Jyotiraditya's Entry Into BJP

Know who is most unhappy at the entry of Gwalior royal scion Jyotiraditya Scindia into the BJP? More than the Congress leaders, it is his two aunts who are deeply unhappy and feel very unsettled. While publicly Jyotiraditya's aunts – former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje and former MP minister Yashodhara Raje – have welcomed him into the BjP, they are said to be unhappy at his entry.
The reason? They are upset that Jyotiraditya's entry would virtually seat their fate. Yashodhara used to represent the Gwalior royal clan in MP BJP. Now, she will have to cede that position to Jyotiraditya. Also, there is no love lost between her and present CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Shivraj might deny her a ministerial position claiming that he may have to accommodate Jyotiraditya and his men. As for Vasundhara, Jyotiraditya is closer to Amit Shah than she is. In fact, Amit Shah is said to be encouraging the anti-Vasundhara faction in Rajasthan. There is another reason why the aunts are unhappy. Sources say that it was the Gaekwads of Baroda who helped Jyotiraditya open a channel with Amit Shah. The Gaekwads are in-laws for Jyotiraditya. They are said to be very close to Amit Shah and this has helped them set up the channel between Jyotiraditya and the BJP.
There is another reason why the aunts are upset. For years, they have been asking the house previously allotted to their brother Madhava Rao Scindia be allotted to their family. The government allotted it to Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhrial Nihank. Now, giving this building is part of the bargain that Jyotiraditya struck with the BJP. So, Jyotiraditya achieved what they could not all these years.
