BCCI Gets Green Signal From The Centre For IPL

The efforts made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly in regard to IPL ended on a happy note with Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Centre giving the green signal for the 13th edition of IPL.

Following this, the Indian Premier League's Governing Council is gearing up to make all the arrangements for the Twenty20 cricket league which will be held in UAE. The event will kick start in the month of September.

It is believed that the first match of the 13th edition of IPL will be played on the 19th of September and the tournament will be lasting for the 10th of September.

On the other hand, some media reports claim that the matches which will be played in the evenings will start an hour earlier than the usual timings which is at 7:30 PM. While the timings of afternoon matches are fixed at 3:30.

The Governing Council of IPL will very soon chair a review meeting to discuss the rules and regulations for the cricketing event and the safety measures that have to be followed.
