Police nabbed three men for reportedly killing a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. The leader was shot dead by unidentified men outside his shop, news reports reported.
This shocking incident took place in Firozabad city in Uttar Pradesh. He was shot by unidentified men outside his shop, while the victim was returning after closing his shop.
According to some media reports, the victim who was shot dead was identified as DK Gupta. The local leader was attacked by bike-borne assailants ahead of the Assembly bypoll.
DK Gupta's family members rushed him to a hospital in Agra for treatment. However, he couldn't be saved. He breathed his last at the hospital.
Additional Director General Agra, Ajay Anand said, three people, including the main accused, were arrested. The accused trio was being questioned by the cops, ANI reported.
