BJP MP to head the panel of seers to 'reclaim' Varanasi Temple

Nominated Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) reciprocated the thoughts of many Hindu Organizations and the MP announced the panel members to reclaim three Hindu sites.
BJP leader, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy took to Microblogging site Twitter and announced that a panel comprising of seers was formed to reclaim the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi.
The panel will see Subramanian Swamy himself as the chairman to reclaim the temple site after recovering the Jyotirling removed by Aurangzeb.
The demand to reclaim the temple sites of Varanasi and Mathura gained momentum after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Hindus and ruled out to hand over the disputed land to construct Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
During the early days of the pandemic outbreak in May, Subramanian Swamy opined that after the lockdown ends, the Varanasi temple issue will be taken up.
"Kashi Vishvanath Temple will be taken up after Lockdown is over. A Committee of prominent Sadhus has been formed with Jagadguru Jr. Shankaracharya Jitendra Swamiji as Gen Secy and myself as Chairman to liberate the site after recovering the Jyotirling removed by Aurangzeb," the MP’s tweet dated back in May 23rd read.
