BJP made its stand clear on the AP Capital. A clear announcement has been made that it is opposing 3 Capitals proposal and extended solidarity to the farmers of Amaravati. The plan of action is going to be decided post the Sankranthi season.

AP BJP Core Committee Meeting happened in Guntur on Saturday. BJP AP President Kanna Lakshminarayana, Mahila Morcha National Leader Purandeswari, MPs Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, GVL Narasimha Rao and State Party In-Charge Sunil Deodhar participated in the meeting.

A resolution was passed recommending Amaravati as the Administrative Capital of Andhra Pradesh. Which means, CM Camp Office, Secretariat, Assembly, Seed Capital and Raj Bhavan has to be established in Amaravati itself.

Core Committee discussed about the views expressed by Leaders like Vishnu Kumar Raju in favour of YCP Government's 3 Capitals Proposal. That is when the Members reached a conclusion that the views of President will remain as the official stand of the Party.

Interestingly, GVL Narasimha Rao opined Union Government doesn't interfere in the AP Capital issue and it remains neutral.
