Too many twists and turns in the Karnataka Crisis has been making people wonder when this political drama would be ending.
H Nagesh, an Independent MLA who tendered his resignation, boarded a Mumbai-bound Flight. None other than Karnataka BJP Chief BS Yeddyurappa's Personal Assistant accompanies him. This development gave strength to the accusations of Congress and JD (S) that BJP is behind present political crisis in Karnataka.
Congress Senior Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad told Yeddyurappa's PA was found travelling with rebel MLAs in the plane. He went on to say, 'BJP appoints Chief Minister in bars and restaurants. They have that in Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh'.
Karnataka Minister DK Shivakumar accused BJP of hijacking H Nagesh. 'Nagesh called Me and told he was hijacked by Yeddyurappa's PA. The flight took off by the time I had reached the airport,' he said.
Currently, The Rebel MLAs were in a five-star hotel in Goa. The strength of Congress-JD (S) Coalition will fall down to 103 in the Assembly if the resignations were accepted. Luckily for Congress-JDS, Speaker turned down majority of the resignations on grounds that they weren't in the appropriate format.
