Why This Ruckus Over YV Subba Reddy

We all know YV Subba Reddy is a staunch Hindu. Many of us have seen him in Ayyappa Deeksha clothes. He had visited the Sabarimala temple many a time. His wife is a devout Hindu. Yet, there is a sudden controversy over his Hinduness. Ever since, there are reports that he could be appointed the chairperson of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board, there is a concerted misinformation campaign against him claiming that he is a Christian.

There is a vicious campaign to malign him. His wife Swarnalatha Reddy is the sister of YSR's wife and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's mother YS Vijayamma. Though Vijayamma is a practicing Christian, Swarnalatha remained a Hindu and is a devout one at that. Even YV openly flaunts his Hinduness. Yet, some elements are trying to spread fake news. They are trying to tag strong Hindutwa voices on Twitter and Instagram to create a national furore on the issue. This section, which is close to the regime that has been voted out just recently, is trying to build an impression that Christians are garnering all key posts in AP under YS Jagan. This is happening despite YS Jagan prostrating before Vizag Sarada peetham seer Swaroopananda and visiting Tirupati repeatedly.

One only hopes this fake controversy dies a natural death and the Yellow media does not have its way.
