The election campaign for the upcoming GHMc elections is getting interesting day by day with the leaders making controversial and sensational remarks at the political rallies.
Days after
promising to conduct a surgical strike in Hyderabad's Old City to push
out Pakistanis and Rohingyas from Hyderabad, Bharatiya Janata Party's
Telangana unit chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar made controversial remarks yet
again.
Reports claimed that Bandi Sanjay once again announced
that they will conduct a surgical strike. The state chief even compared
the GHMC elections with the India-Pakistan match.
Referring to
those who celebrate Pakistan's win over India in cricket, Bandi Sanjay
asked whether Pakistan should win the match or India should win.
He
even lashed out at AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi's distasteful remarks on
former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao and the former Chief Minister of
erstwhile Andhra Pradesh NT Rama Rao.
Reacting to MLA's demand
to demolish PV Ghat and NTR Ghat, the state chief said, if the ghats of
two stalwarts were demolished, BJP activists will demolish Darussalam.
Looks like, the GHMC election campaign is getting ugly with the political parties targeting the sensitive issues.
Targeting
great politicians to attract the voters of a particular community is
highly condemnable. Let's hope that for God's sake the political parties
won't target the stalwarts.
