Bihar Distributes Condoms To Migrant Workers

The Bihar Health department distributed Condoms to these migrants who returned to their own state as a bid to stop the unwanted pregnancies. The Bihar government joined hands with Care India to distribute condoms.
The data collected by the authorities stated that so far 8.77 lakh people completed the lazaretto period, while 13 lakh people were still in lazaretto and the authorities were doing counseling for the migrants who complete their lazaretto period.
Talking about the same, Dr. Utpal Das, doctor with Bihar State Health Society said that counseling drive was being conducted in the state dedicated purely for family planning and it has nothing to do with the ongoing pandemic.
