Taking the previous stand on Class 10 and Intermediate examinations in the state, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh once again made it clear that the exams will not be canceled.

The exams will be held after the Covid situation gets under control in the state. The decision to conduct the exams was taken to see that the future of the students will not get affected.

“The opposition parties are stooping low by using the exams episode for political gains. Is there any rule to suspend the exams if the other states suspend the exams, the Minister said?

He went on to say that the students should be focused on preparing for the exams and should not get deviated as the exams will be held after the prevailing Coronavirus situations get settled.

As per the previous schedule, the Class 10 exams were supposed to commence from June 7. In the wake of the Covid-19 impact, the government announced the postponement of the board exams.

While postponing the exams, the Andhra Pradesh government said, they will take a call on the conduction of the exams in July after chairing a key review meeting.
