Since the fallout with party leadership, Jr NTR kept maintaining strategic silence over the possibility of playing active role in TDP. The 'Jai Lava Kusa' Star maintained a safe distance from TDP during 2014, 2019 AP Elections. He even skipped campaigning for his Sister Suhasini during 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls. Doubts have been raised whether Tarak will take over the reins of the party even if Nara Family lets him lead from the front.
The recent meeting of Chandrababu Naidu and Jr NTR drew a lot of attention. This happened when Naidu paid a visit to Harikrishna's residence on the eve of his death anniversary. TDP Supremo spent some time with NTR and Kalyan Ram after paying floral tributes to Harikrishna.
Whether Tarak would ignore the fact that Chandrababu Naidu moved the proposal of TDP-TRS in the presence of Harikrishna's mortal remains? Jr would have certainly campaigned for Suhasini had if he didn't take it seriously.
TDP Supporters wish to see NTR play active role in politics so that the party can regain it's glory by 2024. Whereas, Majority of the Nandamuri Fans are fine with Tarak focussing only on his acting career for the next 10 years. They believe a new innings would begin with #RRR and Jr would scale new heights as an actor in the next few years.
