AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his wife YS Bharati Reddy visited the Regional Passport Office in Vijayawada on Saturday to obtain Diplomatic Passport.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues Diplomatic Passport to the Chief Minister of the State. A CM having a Diplomatic Passport is entitled to receive special privileges at the airports, both domestic & international. This include hassle-free check-ins and tax exemption.
Even Chandrababu Naidu used to hold Diplomatic Passport until he lost the Chief Minister's post in May 2019. The Former CM surrendered it to the concerned officials after losing power. This is one of the reasons why any Politician who sits in the CM Chair doesn't want to leave it at any cost. What could even the Most Experienced Politicos could do nothing when the people's mandate is against them? Understandably, Chandrababu Naidu is in that sort of a situation at present. Everything that he kept losing since May 23rd is going into the hands of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, whether if it's CM Post or Diplomatic Passport. The script of god is unquestionable...isn't it?
