Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan who is not leaving any stone unturned to implement welfare schemes launched the Andhra Pradesh Corporation for Outsourced Services (APCOS) on Friday.

CM Jagan launched APCOS from his camp office in Tadepalli through a video conference. The recruiting process from the housekeeping staff to security personnel at various levels will take place via APCOS.

Speaking at the video-conference, CM Jagan said, he got to know about the problems faced by the outsourcing staff when they met his during his padayatra prior to the 2019 elections.

After getting to know about their problems, he set up APCOS to see that the recruiting process will take place with the utmost transparency. As many as 50,449 outsourcing employees were recruited and the required letters were also sent to them.

In these outsourcing jobs, 50 percent reservation was allotted to SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities, and women were also given a reservation of 50 percent. All the requirements were made so that all the employees will be getting the salary on the first of the month along with the benefits.
