YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reached Kurnool to inaugurate the Tungabhadra Pushkaralu festival on Friday. The festival lasts for 12 days.

After the inauguration, CM Jagan met the kin of auto driver Abdul Salam, who ended his life by committing suicide along with his wife and children over alleged police harassment.

Jagan met Abdul Salam's mother-in-law Mahabunnisa, her son, and other family members at the APSP Guest House and assured them the guilty will be brought before justice.

The Chief Minister assured that Mahabunnisa's daughter Shahida will be given a job under outsourcing and asked the authorities to look into the required steps to give her a job.

Jagan also directed the authorities to transfer Mahabunnisa's son-in-law Shamshavali to the Nandyal Medical Health Department from the Anantapur DMHO office.

Mahabunnisa's family expressed their gratitude to CM Jagan for the support they are receiving from him.
