Cricket fans will see the franchises playing with new faces in the next season of the Indian Premier League(IPL) as the teams will go for auction. Making way for the same the team released a few players whom they think are not required for the team. Other teams can bid for such players.

Now cricket fans are wondering if the CSK team is regretting releasing a young player who broke a big record in domestic cricket. The Yellow army recently released N Jagadeesan. He was earlier bought at a base price. However, he was not given any chance to play. For the auction, he was released.

Now he raised many eyeballs by scoring a stunning double century in the Vijay Hazare trophy. The wicketkeeping batsman scored 277 runs and his innings include 25 fours and 15 maximums. With this, he broke the record held by Hitman Rohit Sharma as the highest run scorer in the 50 overs format with 264 runs. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the Tamil Nadu batsman Jagadeesan has been showing good form. He already scored five centuries in the tournament.

Now observers are raising doubt about whether the CSK team is regretting releasing the player as his presence in the team would make the CSK team strong. The young player would bring a balance in the middle order.

The CSK team is looking a bit weak in the middle order in the absence of Suresh Raina. After not retaining Raina, the yellow army management is yet to find a good replacement for the left-handed batsman. If Jagadeesan is nurtured he would come in handy. But the management released him. Other teams might show interest in him now.
