Loss of power seems to be making Chandrababu very desperate. Abuses, invectives and rash comments have become part of his repertoire ever since he lost power. He has since then been using very rash and abrasive words that vitiate the political atmosphere in the state. When it comes to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the language gets harsher and the tone gets shriller.
Taking cue from the leader, the TDP cadre is going berserk with their words. They are using unparliamentary expressions to describe YS Jagan and his ministers. During a recent yatra, a party cadre hurled abuses at Minister Kodali Nani and has described him in unprintable language. Instead of warning or stopping him, Chandrababu appeared to enjoy these abuses. He also encouraged the party worker by asking his name and seeking his details. This catalysed the party worker to no end. He got shriller and demanded that Kodali Nani be put to death. An indulgent Chandrababu did not stop him. Instead, he had only egged him on further.
At this rate, he would only make his cadre more violent and aggressive. That, dare we say, is not good for the TDP itself.
