Caste Activism Marred Chances Of This Charming IAS?

This is the story of a young, dynamic, but publicity crazy IAS officer, who always tries to do something or the other to hog the limelight. She was recently chosen as the OSD to another young and upcoming union minister. The name was forwarded to the Union Ministry of Home for approaval. But, the union ministry has left everyone surprised by rejecting the IAS officer.
The reason? The IAS officer spends a lot of time on the social media. The IAS officer, who served in various postings, is always busy on the social media and some of her posts come even while she is on the job. The Union home ministry felt that the too much of social media could actually stop the officer from focusing on the work. But, more importantly, the IAS officer was seen to be very active in the caste group that she belongs to. The Home Ministry felt this was objectionable. How can a senior administrator be swayed by caste, asked the report.
As a result of all these, the bright IAS officer is now back to Telugu states. She is no longer the OSD of the union minister. This only shows how particular the Modi government is towards the image of those working in the government.
