Tirupati Airport To Get Ceremonial Lounge

The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the allotment of 1800 sqm of Airports Authority of India's(AAI's) land to Andhra Pradesh Education And Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation(APEWIDC) for 15 years at a nominal rate of a license fee of Re. 1/- per annum, for the construction of Ceremonial Lounge at Tirupati Airport.
The Venkateswara Temple is a landmark Vaishnavite temple situated in the hill town of Tirumala at Tirupati in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is frequently visited by VIPs & VVIPs. With the construction of such a guest complex there, better facilities will be available to such people visiting there. This lounge will be maintained by APEWIDC.
