Centre To Give One Crore Covid-19 Vaccine Doses To AP In First Phase!

The 5-day Winter Session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly ended on Friday. The state Assembly passed not less than 11 bills on the last day of the Winter sessions.
On Friday, the last day of Winter sessions, the state Assembly discussed the Coronavirus situations in the state.
Addressing the house on the Covid-19 situation, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said, the Union government has promised to offer one crore vaccine doses during the first phase, once the vaccine is rolled out.
Talking further, the Chief Minister said once the state receives vaccine doses from the Centre, the frontline warriors, healthcare workers, and senior citizens will be given priority in vaccination.
The government has speeded up the process of making the required arrangements to store the vaccine and transport it to every corner. 4,065 cold chain storage units were set up across the state so far.
It has to be noted that, the other day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an all-party meeting to discuss the Corona situations in the country. In the meeting, he hoped that the vaccine could be made available in a few weeks.
