Finally, Election Commission offered its consent to the AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to hold a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. The Poll Body sent a letter to AP Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam and Chief Electoral Officer Gopala Krishna Dwivedi in this regard.
Election Commission made it clear Cabinet Members will have to confine themselves to discussion what's being mentioned in the representation given to it. The topics permitted by EC include Drought Situation in AP, Mitigation of Drinking Water Crisis, Cyclone Fani destruction in Uttar Andhra and Implementation of Employment Guarantee Programme.
Chief Minister's Office informed CM Chandrababu Naidu will hold cabinet meeting at 3 pm on Tuesday. It's going to be the last cabinet meeting of Naidu in his third term as Chief Minister. If TDP retains power, Babu could continue holding such meetings or else he will have to wait for at least another 5 years.
