The second day of the annual meeting of TDP's Mahanadu kickstarted with the party leaders and cadre paying homages to the party chief and former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pardesh late N.T Rama Rao as today is his birthday.
After paying tributes to the iconic leader, TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu lit the lamp and started the conclave. They came with a resolution to demand Bharat Ratna for NTR who starved hard for the self-respect of the Telugu people across the globe.
The TDP supremo termed the party leaders as the foundation of the TDP party and said that the welfare of the party leaders is more important for the party. Naidu went on to say that facing challenges for the TDP is not new and the party will rise again for sure and maintained that the party will not fear for such situations.
Actor-turned-politician and NTR's son Nandamuri Balakrishna remembered the mark left by his father in the politics who always strived for the well being of the people.
