Senior Telugu Desam Party(TDP) leader and village chief was killed in Macherla. The death had caused a political storm in the state and the opposition Telugu Desam Party had severely condemned the death and put the blame on the ruling outfit in the state YSRCP.

Party chief and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reached Gundlapadu village in Andhra Pradesh to meet the family members of the deceased TDP leader Thota Chandraiah. On this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu breathed fire on the YSRCP.

Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at the YSRCP and accused the party of indulging in the demon's rule. Attributing the TDP village president Thota Chandraiah's death to the party, Chandrababu Naidu said that the Rakshasha Palana of YSRCP had already claimed ten lives of the TDP leaders in the Palnadu region alone.

Not stopping there, Chandrababu Naidu had mentioned the incidents where the likes of Bonda Uma and Buddha Venkanna were attacked earlier in the state. The former Chief Minister cited the two incidents as examples of the YSRCP atrocities against the opposition.

The TDP supremo had condoled the death of the party leader and assured the kin of village president Thota Chandraiah that the party will stand beside them and will lend a helping hand to them.

Chandrababu Naidu went on to say that if the DGP would have taken the appropriate action against the culprits in the previous instances then the new incident would have not happened in the state.

The assassination took place when the TDP leader Thota Chandraiah was reportedly attacked with sticks and rods. It has been widely reported that he sustained severe injuries in the incident and succumbed to the injuries. While there is no information on who is behind the incident, the opposition party aimed guns at the ruling party over the incident.

Former Minister Nara Lokesh also reacted to the issue and lashed out at the government. He said that there is no protection for the public and opposition as a person like Jagan is serving as the Chief Minister of the state. Nara Lokesh came down against CM Jagan talking about the murder.
