Brother-in-law Nandamuri Balayya Babu is fast turning out to be a millstone around Chandrababu Naidu. His intemperate comments about not being invited to the meeting of film industry biggies with Telangana minister for Cinematography, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, have literally overshadowed the Mahanadu. What more? His comments have only helped in pitting the film industry biggies against the TDP.
Despite sympathy towards the TDP, the film industry biggies know pretty well that they have to pander to both KCR in Telangana and Jagan in AP. Their financial and long term interests demand that they stay on the right side of these leaders. Not inviting Balayya Babu to the meeting was part of this strategy. Naturally, Balayya Babu is upset. But Balayya should not forget that he tried to sideline Chiranjeevi at every step when Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister of AP. He had openly said that he would never invite Chiru to a function as he would overshadow every other person. Interestingly, unlike Balayya Babu, Chiru kept his cool during those days and let the things pass.
Chiru's sibling Naga Babu has reminded these things to Balayya. Also, another producer, C Kalyan, had clearly stated that Industry's interests are paramount for them and they would deal with anyone who helps them. This is a clear signal that Nandamuri family is no longer important for the industry.
