Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a press meet on Friday on the alleged insulting comments the YSRCP leaders made against his wife in the Assembly during the seeings and wept like a small kid. After the press meet, his family members are coming out to extend their support in this regard

Chinnamma Daggubati Purandeswari took to Twitter to condemn the comments on her sister and said she was hurt by the character assassination of Bhuvaneswari. Former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari said that the siblings were grown with values and they can't compromise on that.

"Am truly hurt by how Smt Bhuvaneswari is subjected to character assassination. We, as siblings have grown up with values. No way that we will compromise with that," Daggubati Purandeswari tweeted condemning the alleged character assassination of her sister.

BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari said that stooping too low and trying to character assassinate her sister is not good and asked whats the intention behind passing such objectionable comments was. We are with Chandrababu Naidu in this tough time, she said.

Other members of the Nandamuri Family like Nandamuri Suhasini reacted to the issue and condemned the comments against Chandrababu Naidu's wife. They are finding fault with dragging a person who is not connected with politics into the issue and passing unwanted comments.

Nandamuri Harikrishna's daughter Suhasini said that politics should be confined to politics itself and it should not go beyond that point where a person who distances herself from politics gets targeted for no reason.

Bhuvaneshwari never got involved in politics in her life. Telugu people fondly call NTR as Anna. Commenting on his daughter is not good. Why bring the family members into politics? For political gains, will demeaning comments be made on women?, Nandamuri Suhasini said.

Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu's brother-in-law Balkrishna reacted to the issue and warned the YSRCP leaders to control their tongues or else they will pay for it. Coming down severely on the leaders for the loose tongue, Nandamuri Balakrishna said involving her sister unnecessarily is objectionable. He asked why leaders are targeting others on personal matters when the state is struggling with floods.
