Without any doubt, we can say Adipurush is one of the much-awaited films. The upcoming film stars Pan-India star Prabhas as Lord Ram and the film is based on Hindu Epic Ramayana. Prabhas is doing an epic-based film in his career which is made on a massive scale.

As the release date is fast approaching, the makers held a massive event in the temple town of Tirupati. Team Adipurush visited the temple and offered prayers to the deity. Ahead of its release, the film landed in a big controversy and raised many eyeballs. People are still talking about it.

Director Om Raut and actress Kriti Sanon visited the temple. While leaving the temple premises, Om Raut gave a peck on actress Kriti Sanon's cheeks. The video went viral on social media platforms with netizens raising their eyeballs and expressing their dissatisfaction with the Director and actress.

Rangarajan, the chief priest of the famous Chilkur Balaji Temple, walked into the row and expressed his dissatisfaction with what happened. He said that what had happened was not acceptable and that it was against religious sentiments. The Head Priest said that people should behave decently in the sacred surroundings.

Rangarajan also gave mentions of actors like NTR, ANR, and Nagarjuna who earlier portrayed Indian mythology characters and maintained their dignity. Having said that, he also maintained the kind of dedication is not present now. Talking about Kriti Sanon in particular, the head priest said that she is not suitable to play Seetamma.

"I was deeply saddened to witness Om Raut and Kriti Sanon behaving indecently at the Tirupati temple. Actors like NTR, ANR, and Nagarjuna displayed grace and dignity in their portrayals of characters from Indian mythology. But nowadays, such dedication seems to be lacking. Kriti Sanon is not suitable for the role of Seetamma," the temple head priest said.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. While Prabhas is playing lord Rama, Kriti Sanon is playing Goddess Sita. Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Demon King Ravana in the upcoming film. Adipurush is jointly bankrolled by T-Series and Retrophiles which is slated for a grand release on the 16th of this month in multiple languages.
