Hours after the United States President Donald Trump issued executive orders to ban the US operations of Chinese multinational internet ByteDance and the apps under it, China hit back at the US.
Dragon Country China came down severely on United States fo banning the short video apps TikTok and WeChat and termed the move to ban the apps as 'political suppression'.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin called for a press briefing in this regard and said the US has been frequently abusing its national power and suppressing the companies that don't belong to the US.
He went on to say that, the United States is banning the Chinese Apps in the nation at the expense of the interests of the users and the companies in America and this is an example of how the US is manipulating the companies.
On the other hand, the Chinese video-sharing service TikTok also threatened to take legal action against the United States as the President issued orders to ban the US operations of the apps.
As per the executive orders issued by US President Donald Trump, the US Operations of ByteDance will be banned in the nation within 45 days from today.
