Is a cold war happening between Telangana Governor and Telangana CM? Relations clearly are deteriorating between these two constitutional posts in Telangana. The TRS strongly feels that the national leadership of the BJP is behind the new-found aggression of Tamilisai Saundararajan.
Tamilisai has emerged as a to-go person to the non-TRS leaders of late. Not just the BJP, even the Congress leaders are meeting her regularly on some pretext or the other. In addition, she has been holding programmes on her own and is becoming increasingly popular. Tamilisai, who used to be a practicing doctor, has showing the derringdo to visit the hospitals treating corona patients. This move has exposed the shortcomings of both KCR and his government. While CM KCR remained confined to his farm house, the Governor visited the Corona hospitals all alone. In addition, she is holding online durbar every Sunday and Monday. All these are not to the liking of KCR.
The latest incident where the chief secretary and the health secretary declined to attend a meeting called by the governor too has shown the TRS government in poor light. While the government is pro-active and has criticised the government for conducting fewer tests, the TRS government has responded by not sending the chief secretary and the health secretary to Tamilisai's meetings. Those in the know say that KCR should realise his folly and work in tandem with the governor.
