In what it could be a shocker the confirmed cases of deadly Covid-19 in the US have surpassed 100,000. What's even more shocking is that the cases of the pandemic have doubled in just three days.

The information given by Johns Hopkins University states that the US has witnessed 101,707 positive cases and the death tolls stood at 1,544 in the country.

"It took 67 days from the first reported case to reach 100,000 cases, 11 days for second 100,000 cases, and just four days for the third 100,000 cases," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said

New York has turned out as the major hot spot as the local hospital systems as the city has only a limited number of beds, medical staff, and equipment. What's even scarier is that the ventilators are very limited which is a potentially life-saving device.

To make sure that the spread of the virus is curbed many cities and states across the nation have been kept under lockdown. Twenty-three states have issued stay-at-home orders and the advisories have closed nonessential businesses across the nation so far.
