Cong Gained Nothing From Tie-Up With TDP

Observing the trends since the counting of votes began on Tuesday morning gives an indication that Telangana Congress committed a blunder & TRS made the most out of it. Guess, What it is? Forming alliance with arch-rival TDP which never fought for the cause of Telangana Statehood.
By now, It's official that Congress will be forming government in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. In Madhya Pradesh, It is going to be the single largest party and likely to form the government as well. Congress might have lost power in Mizoram but denied any opportunity for BJP to gain anything. Which means, Congress encashed on the anti-BJP Wave in these states.
Whereas, The National Party wasn't able to improve its poll prospects despite forming Mahakutami comprising of four parties. It's been too late by the time it realized that alliance with TDP has backfired. The soft-corner or sympathy Telanganites have on Congress Party evaporated the moment it formed alliance with Telugu Desam. Instead of gaining anything, Congress Party ended up losing a lot due to the alliance. Congress Leaders might have finally realized that people's acceptance matters the most for any alliance.
