The Rajasthan politics which went through many twists and turns took an interesting turn with the Congress party removing rebel leader Sachin Pilot from the Deputy Chief Minister post.
The Congress party took the decision after Sachin Pilot didn't show up for the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting which irked the party leaders. As a result, he was removed.
Along with Pilot, his two loyalists Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena were also sacked from the cabinet, and Govind Singh Dotastra was declared the Rajasthan state Congress President.
The Congress party found fault with the BJP party for misleading leaders like Sachin Pilot and others. Congress leaders quashed the claims of Sachon Pilot and said he was given his due recognition and importance in the party.
It's interesting how the Congress party will deal with the remaining leaders who skipped the CLP meeting. Seems like the party is sending a strong message to the leaders by sacking three of its leaders.
On the other hand, as many as 104 MLAs supported Ashok Gehlot as Chief Minister proving his strength. Soon after the CLP meeting, Gehlot went to Raj Bawan and met Governor Kalraj Mishra.
However, everyone is waiting to hear Sachin Pilot's version of this issue. There is no clarity on Sachin's next step. Some say he will join hands with the BJP party while some say he might start his own party. To get more clarity in this row, we might have to wait some more days.
