In politics, even ordinary meetings become sensational. Such being the case, former leader of the opposition and senior Congress man K Jana Teddy meeting newly appointed Himachal Pradesh governor Bandaru Dattatreya is sure to raise eyebrows.
Jana Reddy has been keeping a low profile ever since he lost the assembly elections in 2018. He was a minister in both the TDP and the Congress regimes and was the leader of the opposition from 2014till 2018. He surprised every one by praising the TRS government several times. But, he went into limbo ever since the drubbing he received in the 2018 elections.
But his sudden meeting with Dattatreya has left everyone confused. Many feel this is a prelude to his joining the BJP. Jana Reddy himself promptly denied this. But, doubts still remain. Even during the run-up to the 2018 elections, there were rumours that the BJP was in touch with Jana Reddy.
