Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev needs no introduction. From his events to promoting Yoga to starting one of the popular Multinational conglomerate companies Patanjali Ayurved which employs around 2 lakh employees he stays in the news all the time. Baba Ramdev also hits the headlines for his controversial comments on various issues.

Living up to his reputation Baba Ramdev sparked another controversy by passing indecent comments on women's clothing. Addressing women at a Yoga event he said "You look good in sarees, you look good in salwar suits and you look good when like me you wear nothing"

He made these comments while sharing the dais with Amruta Fadnavis,

wife of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The Women's Commission sent him a notice in this regard and demanded an explanation on this.

In response, Baba Ramdev said that he is regretting passing such comments and he is apologizing for the same. Maharashtra Commission for Women chief Rupali Chakankar took to Twitter to share the apology sent by Baba Ramdev in writing.

The Women's Commissions are not sparing anyone who passes any objectionable comments about women these days. Irrespective of the position they hold and the ties they have with the parties the bodies are not leaving anyone. Though Ramdev Baba is said to have good relations with the BJP he was slapped with a notice seeking an explanation.
