Cops Arrest Actress over her alleged role in 200 cr Extortion!

Going by the information gathered in a multi-crore money extortion case, Malayalam actress Leena Maria Paul was arrested by the Economic Offences Department of the Delhi Police. The actress is facing allegations of reportedly helping Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is accused in 21 cases related to extortion
As per the information shared by the media reports, the Delhi Police had arrested the Madras Cafe actress Leena Maria Paul on the grounds of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime (MCOCA) Act. The act is used for slapping the accused in severe money-related cases.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar is accused of cheating the wife of a businessman for Rs 200 crore. The actress is said to have supported Chandrasekhar in the alleged extortion case. After digging deeper into the case, the cops found information that shows the actress as a helping hand of Sukesh. Based on this, the Cops nabbed her.
Going into details, a victim named Aditi Singh, wife of a businessman had moved the Police earlier in August against the money extortion. In the complaint, Aditi Sigh said that she was approached by a person who introduced himself as the official of the Ministry of Law. The person told her that he can help her to get bail for her husband.
Aditi Singh's husband Shivinder Singh was arrested and sent to prison in connection with the much-talked-about funds' misappropriation of the Religare Finvest Ltd (RFL) in 2019. Knowing that Aditi Singh is trying hard to secure bail for her husband, Chandrasekhar had approached her and called her.
It has been widely reported that Chandrasekhar took the help of two officials in the Rohini jail to carry out the plan in cheating the victim in the money extortion case. Chandrasekhar was arrested when the extortion took place. With the help of his associates and two officials, he managed to run the racket.
The cops said that, during the questioning, the associates of Chandrasekhar shared more information on the extortion case and said they helped him in carrying out his plan. The two jail officials were also nabbed in this case. The arrest of the officials' duo had sent shocking waves all over.
