Corona Infections In India Heading Towards 59 Lakh-Mark

The ongoing pandemic continues to ring the danger bells in India as yet again over 86,000 fresh infections were detected in India in the last 24 hours. Total infections in India are nearing the 5.9 million-mark
Going by the information provided by the Union Health Ministry, in a span of 24 hours, 86,052 fresh Coronavirus infections were detected in India taking the toll of the total cases of the virus to a whopping 58,18,570.
India straightaway reported over 1,000 fresh fatalities for the 25th consecutive day with as many as 1,129 new casualties in the last 24 hours. So far, 92,290 patients have succumbed to the virus in India.
So far, a total of 46,74,987 patients have been cured of the Coronavirus in India, including 87,374 patients beating the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. India's recovery rate stood at 80.7 percent. The active cases stood at 9,70,116.
Telangana reported 2,381 fresh Corona infections in the past 24 hours taking the total infections in the state to 1,81,627. So far, 1080 patients have succumbed to the contagious disease.
Andhra Pradesh added 7855 fresh Corona cases in 24 hours. With this, the toll of the total infections mounted to 6,54,385. The state reported 5558 casualties so far.
Globally, the total infections pass surged the 3 crore-mark as 32,395,107.patients were diagnosed with the Coronavirus. While 23,904,814 patients have been recovered from the virus, 987,065 patients have lost their lives.
United States(7,185,130), India(5,818,570), Brazil(4,659,909) and Russia (1,128,836). are the worst-affected nations globally with the Coronavirus outbreak.
