Maharashtra, the severely affected state with the Coronavirus outbreak in the country continues to fear the respiratory disease. For two consecutive days, Maharashtra registered over 6,000 fresh Covid-19 infections.
Following the spike in new infections, the
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed more than 1305
across Mumbai. The new development came after more than 2,000 fresh
infections were reported.
The civic body BMC has confirmed the
sealing of 1305 complexes in the city after 2749 infections were
reported. These sealed buildings comprise 71,838 households

The Maharashtra government has announced a
new lockdown in several districts to curb the infections after new
strains of Coronavirus were detected in Amravati and another region.
The
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a new set of
guidelines for the public. Special Marshals have been appointed who were
tasked to see that the public wear masks and maintain social distancing
outdoors.
